This striking African Feather Headdress (Juju Hat) is traditionally worn by royal dancers of the Bamileke tribe during important ceremonies. Symbolising prosperity, they are rare objects of beauty believed to possess the positive qualities of birds.
Creation
Dyed chicken feathers are hand stitched into a woven raffia basket. It folds into itself for easy transportation and storage.
