Dining out at restaurants is not only a wonderful excuse to have a night off from cooking, enjoy great food and company, but also an opportunity to gather design inspiration.
In Melbourne, we are lucky to have many city, suburban and country dining establishments, each presenting a unique dining aesthetic. When dining out, pay attention to the interplay of light, the colour palette, materials and textures utilised in each of the spaces, and have your phone camera ready to snap anything that takes your interest (don’t forget to tag the location of your image too).
This wallpaper caught my eye when dining out at a local Italian restaurant Grazia [Glen Iris], the Mediterranean citrus design is in keeping with the cuisine as well as a beautiful and unexpected surprise when visiting the restroom.
